Eligibility

The EOF program is available to New Jersey residents who have a high school diploma or an equivalent degree. Qualified students must attend the required summer program and must enroll full time at TCNJ.

EOF students must come from families and/or communities disadvantaged by low income, high unemployment, a dependence upon welfare, substandard housing, or the lack of access to the quality educational preparation necessary for college. EOF students must also be academically motivated and meet the guidelines set by the New Jersey Commission on Higher Education.

 


State Eligibility

  • You must be a New Jersey resident for at least 12 consecutive months
  • You must be a citizen or a permanent resident of the United States
  • Any additional state requirements

Academic Eligibility

EOF eligibility will be determined after we have received your:

  • Official high school transcripts
  • SAT scores
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • College essay

Financial Eligibility

EOF eligibility will be determined after we have received your:

  • Qualification for New Jersey’s TAG -Tuition Aid Grant 
    • (additional grant information available at link as well)
  • Completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Completed EOF Questionnaire
  • Income verification documentation consisting of but not limited to:
    • 3 preceding years of tax information
    • Social Security Benifits
    • Tanif
    • Child Support
    • Any Official Court Documentation
